Cruising Spain & Gibraltar

We made landfall in Badalona just north of Barcelona after a passage from France.  The Badalona marina is a reasonable alternative if Port Vell is full.  The bus to the train runs right through the marina and it is easy to get in and out of the city, but takes on average 30-45 minutes depending on your destination in Barcelona.

For the winter we spent there our bikes were perfect giving us easy access to the town of Badalona.  From Badalona we moved north up the coast to Mataro where we found a good hauling yard that was very reasonable.  The yard manager was super friendly and helpful but the paint she sold me as International Brand was useless in less than 8 months.

From there we went to the Balearics where we found mostly rolly anchorages.
